During a special stage at Tokyo Game Show, Capcom revealed the surprise return of one of the scariest and most recognizable creatures in the entire series: the Khezu. The upcoming expansion pack Monster Hunter Wilds Rise will feature a flying wyvern with pale, rubbery skin, no eyes, and a creepy mouth full of teeth.
Just like the previous part Monster Hunter Rise or several generationsHezu’s appearance is accompanied by no background music at all, adding to the eerie atmosphere. In addition to the familiar paralyzing electricity and ceiling-suspended attacks, monsters have gained new moves, including catching players with their mouths. The return of monsters also means the introduction of traditional and frightening armor made of their materials.
