Silent Hill: Town Has Fallen, a first-person psychological horror game developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code), is about to be released and has received positive reviews from Western critics for the first time.

As a result, Silent Hill: Town Falls was rated worse by critics than the last two flagship entries in the series, the psychological horror film Silent Hill f(82−86% on Metacritic) and the remake of Silent Hill 2 (86−87%).

Critics praised the dense and oppressive atmosphere of the Scottish island town of St. Amelia, the engaging storyline, thoughtful and pragmatic puzzles, realistic graphics, and atmospheric sound.
The game’s shortcomings include its primitive stealth and combat systems, poor variety and boring enemy designs, undocumented game mechanics (such as CRTV Pocket TV), bugs and crashes of varying severity.
Critics agree that Silent Hill: Town Has Fallen has proven to be a worthy successor to the famous series, but that the series was separated from its true greatness due to the aforementioned gameplay reservations.
Silent Hill: Town Has Fallen will be released on PC on September 24th (steam, EGS) and PS5, but will be available to Enhanced Edition owners two days early. On the occasion of the upcoming release, Konami has launched a new product Game trailer (See video above).
