On Xbox Series X | Today, September 21, the game “Samson” is released. It launched on PC earlier this year and received good reviews, aside from criticism of its technical condition. The developers managed to fix some bugs through patches, and now they are releasing the project on console.
A chance to see the technical status of the Xbox Series X project ahead of the release of Samson | S. Tests have been posted online, showing performance on the console.
Samson tested on Xbox Series X
Xbox Series X players can choose from two graphics modes:
- Quality. 4K resolution, 30 FPS. The frame rate remains stable at the prescribed level.
- Performance. Upgraded from approximately 1080p, 60 FPS to 4K resolution. FPS stability issues – often dropping to 45-50 fps levels.
Samson test on Xbox Series S
On the Xbox Series S console, Samson has a graphics mode – 1080p resolution scaled from the original level (approximately 720p). The game itself runs at just 30 FPS, and that number remains fairly stable.
It should be noted that Samson’s overall technical status is still not ideal. Even in the mini-game moments posted above, you can notice various artifacts, enemies falling into walls, and other issues.
