
Publisher tinyBuild and studio Lazy Bear Games are preparing for the successful release of Graveyard Keeper 2, which will be released today, September 22nd. According to company CEO Alex Nikiporchik, this is the sequel to the popular dark simulation game Stardew Valley There were over 1 million new wishlist additions, over 147,000 pre-orders, and total revenue of over $2.5 million (nearly $3 million).
An eight-year break since the release of the first part and a successful demo version with around 22,000 people participating have sparked huge interest from players and the potential to transfer progress to the release version. Considering the approach of Halloween and the audience’s love for cozy simulators with unusual atmospheres, the publisher expects record-breaking volumes on launch day.
