After the recent announcement of a new game in the StarCraft universe at BlizzCon, a representative from Kotaku reached out to Blizzard to ask for clarification regarding the platform and the exact date of the planned 2030 release.
Questions arose after the company’s UK social account unexpectedly confirmed the launch of the Xbox game, while remaining completely silent on other platforms.
In response to the request, Blizzard Press Services issued only a terse statement: StarCraft “It won’t be exclusive,” declined to comment directly.
Although due to the company’s long history and recent similar announcements regarding the franchise, there was no doubt that the game would release on PC diabloExperts believe that this wording hints at the project’s appearance on other consoles – such as the PlayStation or Nintendo Switch 2.
