The events of Dopoulos will unfold in a totalitarian dystopia. In the story, an ordinary citizen (whose character is moldable) finds himself interrogated as a suspect, but it is unclear what crime he or she has committed.
The trial version of Dopros is called Dopros. Night Shift can be found on the game homepage steam. This version doesn’t come with new documentation, but in July, The Witches Circle released a trailer for a trial version.
The story of “Late Shift” will take place before the events of Dopulus. The user will meet a nervous Investigator-983, whose shift has been going on for a while and wants to put the hero in jail as soon as possible.
Players of The Late Shift will be able to experience a special game condition that speeds up events (angry investigators), three persuasion techniques (presented as mini-games), and five different endings.
The full version promises fans of Papers, Please and Beholder an exciting, relevant and dark story, branching dialogue, tough decisions, multiple endings and support for the Russian language.
Dopros is positioned as a narrative simulator of interrogation and totalitarian justice, inspired by the works of George Orwell. Expected to release on PC in 2026 (steam).
