MMORPG Mortal Online 2 has been updated to version 3.1.0. The developers have added new creatures and mounts, redesigned player support and infrastructure, and introduced an analytics system that will now monitor nearly every aspect of game life.
The main innovation of the world is the toad that appears on Saduk. Additionally, multiple creatures can now be ridden simultaneously: among them are Ratzars, Akreps, Danaburnus, Giant Kurnas, Stone Lizards, Crocodiles, Platybelodons, Campodons, and more. Special crafting packages appear for new mounts, and corresponding skill books are also sold from hunting instructors. The Rumor can now carry one passenger, while the Campodon and Platypus can carry a rider and four passengers at the same time.
Obvious changes also affect the technical part. The developers migrated to Unreal Engine 5.8.1, updated FSR to version 4.1.1, and redesigned error reporting. Continents that have reached maximum capacity now have separate queues and do not block access to other regions. Long startup animations have also been removed.
A particularly interesting innovation is the new analysis system. It will collect data on blade selection and abilities, skills, accumulated wealth, cause and location of death, game session duration, frame rate, missions and rewards. The developers intend to use statistics to predict future balance changes. At the same time, we’ve also improved in-game support: players can now see when the GM accepts a request, communicate with him via a separate chat, and evaluate the service received after closing the request.
The patch also fixes many bugs in the AI, interface, pets, and world, as well as some changes affecting the economy and balance. Resource extraction now takes into account loot luck and loot quantity, the properties of Essence Orbs, the cost of upgrading certain skills and hunting rewards have been adjusted. Fixing treasure chest issues after restarting the server can significantly change the rarity of a single item – especially the Golden Hammer, which was previously less common due to incorrect content saving.
