Pharaoh: A New Age developer from publisher Dotemu and French studio Triskell Interactive declare The release date of “Theos: The Mythical City”, an ancient Greek city planning strategy, was inspired by 2000’s “Zeus: Lord of Olympus”.

As a reminder, Theos: The Mythical City was officially unveiled in early June and is set to launch exclusively for PC in the remainder of 2026. Three months later, the plan is still in effect.
It is understood that “Theos: City of Myth” will be released in digital stores on November 4, 2026 steam. The announcement also comes with a new gameplay trailer, which outlines user features.
“Theos: City of Myth” will take place in another version of ancient Greece, where history and mythology are intertwined. Players must create a prosperous city worthy of the Olympian gods, under their auspices.
To please the patron saint, you must fulfill his demands, build a shelter and monitor the well-being of its inhabitants. A well-thought-out city and a delighted god will attract the attention of legendary heroes and historical figures.
You can develop your strategy in two modes – “Story” and “Sandbox”. The first one will lead the city to prosperity based on known mythology, and the second one will give free rein to creativity without content plot restrictions.
They promise a modern interpretation of classic urban planning strategies, the Seven Gods (Zeus, Athena, Hermes, Ares, Poseidon, Hera, Dionysus), an intuitive interface, dynamic lighting and Russian text translation.
