Microsoft Teams continues to reboot Xbox, and as part of the new phase, several studios have merged and some teams have moved under the control of other publishers. In fact, Xbox Game Studios has lost much of the studio since Asha Sharma’s arrival, with almost all teams now working under Activision and Bethesda.

After all the changes, Xbox Game Studios is left with Mojang, Playground Games, inXile Entertainment and The Coalition. The fate of the Ninja Theory studio isn’t entirely clear either – it’s expected to be acquired by another publisher or become independent, but rumors are growing that the studio will shut down soon.
