Active Matter has released a base protocol update that adds new Cycle 0 and significantly simplifies the use of Merits. Now, they can be redeemed for rewards even without participating in other cycles, and the protocol itself opens after reaching the “DELTA” boulder level.
Rewards include consumables, unique decorations, points, and boulder tokens—all to help you create your personal timeline faster. Access rights gained are retained even after creation, and some rewards are only available through the base protocol. At the same time, the developers also corrected differences in coordination metrics between platforms.

This update isn’t limited to new systems. The game now has a setting to reduce camera shake, and some effects that can cause motion sickness have been softened. Balance changes have been made to Flowermen, Dendroid spawn points, and Contracts, and solo squad autofill is functional again. The developers also fixed some issues with weapons, interface, gamepad, shooting range, sound, and graphics.
