With the support of fans, the popular isometric survival simulator Project Zomboid is preparing to undergo a real revolution. The PZ3D modification moves the camera directly to the character, transforming the usual isometric view into a full-fledged three-dimensional action game with the ability to switch between first- and third-person views.
The developers stress that the project relies on an open architecture from third-party modelers, although low-level mechanisms still require special system components to operate. This type of fan initiative can fundamentally refresh the gameplay of old hits and give audiences a new emotion for exploring a dangerous world.
