Sources revealed that Sony Pictures is preparing to release this year’s highest-grossing film “Spider-Man: New Day” (Spider-Man: A Brand New Day) will be released on digital and on-demand platforms early next month (October 6). Let us remind you that the film was released worldwide and in the United States on July 31st, setting a record at the box office.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film opens a new chapter for Peter Parker (Tom Holland), who was forced to live a life of complete solitude after the events of No Way Home and erased himself from the memories of those close to him. In addition to fighting crime in New York, the heroes face strange evolutions in physical strength and dangerous new adversaries, including the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
The publisher itself has yet to officially confirm it, but a release on physical media (DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD) is tentatively scheduled for November 17, 2026.
