Capcom and Timi have announced the exact release date for survival action game Monster Hunter Outlanders. The action spin-off of the hit series will be released in global markets on October 29, 2026, but you can pre-register in the store in the meantime app store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). A mainland China version is expected to be launched later in 2027.
Along with announcing the release date, the developers also released a four-minute gameplay video where you can see actual gameplay of fighting monsters. This video was recorded from an earlier version using Movie (maximum) graphics settings.
Monster Hunter Outlanders lets you hunt monsters in any environment with seamless locations including forests, swamps, and deserts. Players will be able to use the environment and local creatures to gain an advantage in combat, and craft unique gear and tools to more effectively explore the vast open world.
Combat will retain the traditional style of the series, and hunters will be able to use familiar weapons from Monster Hunter. Additionally, the game will feature the ability to change characters – as players progress, they will be able to encounter unique heroes who will not only be allies, but also control. In addition to the familiar Palico cats, who will return in the new adventure, Monster Hunter Outlanders will feature new companions ready to help you gather resources and hunt. Players can hunt alone or team up with friends to form a squad of up to four people.
