Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox Mythic Achievements, which are already available to Insiders at the Alpha Skip-Ahead level and will be available to all players later this year. Microsoft has made a major overhaul of the achievements section on consoles, adding a “PlayStation equivalent of Platinum” that will be awarded for completing all achievements in the base game (excluding DLC and updates).
Xbox head Asha Sharma is clearly visible on her social networks showwhat the discovery of mythical achievement would look like. Players will see corresponding animations in the game. Sharma used the game Gears of War: E-Day as an example to demonstrate. Additionally, in her video you can see how Mythic achievements are displayed on the player’s profile, how the filtering system works in the Achievements section, and other new elements related to it.
Please note that there will be a total of 55 achievements available in Gears of War: E-Day. To get all the achievements, it’s not enough to complete the story campaign – many achievements are tied to multiplayer. The game “Gears of War: E-Day” itself is quite difficult to obtain mythical achievements. For example, you need to complete at least 1 campaign on “Crazy” difficulty, and you need to complete at least 25,000 kills in Versus mode. Previously, the developers themselves recommended playing the shooter in hardcore mode.

Upon full release, Mythic achievements will be retroactively unlocked for all Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series
