CD Projekt RED has released a remastered version of The Witcher 3, which has been released on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and PC. One of the key features of this release is cross-platform support for user modification. Mods are available on consoles for the first time, and the system itself is implemented through the mod.io platform.

- Xbox Series X | S – 17 of 112 mods.
- Playstation 5 – 46 mods out of 112 mods.
- Switch from 112 mods to 2 – 90 mods.
- PC – 40 of 112 mods.
The number of modifications available on a specific platform depends on their creator and the platform itself that certifies them. Expect mods to appear over time on the Xbox Series X|S, which will become significantly larger.
Please note that Achievements on Xbox Series X|S will be blocked if you use custom mods in The Witcher 3 Remastered. At the same time, the developers have sewn some popular PC mods directly into the game; they can be enabled or disabled in the settings.
