Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s net worth has exceeded $204 billion, cementing his status as one of the richest people on the planet (No. 7 on Forbes).
The capital increase comes as the company’s stock price surged above $234 per share following an upbeat report from analysts at Morgan Stanley. Experts note that these securities are highly attractive given the continued huge demand for artificial intelligence accelerators and predict that they may rise to $300.
In addition to dominating the graphics chip market, Nvidia is also preparing to double its CPU revenue to $40 billion next year as the workload of artificial intelligence institutions surges. Another driver for investors is the company’s generous policy of returning about half of its free capital to shareholders through dividends and stock buybacks, with total capital of $5.7 trillion.
