The developers of sailing MMO Naval Operations have warned that the cost of building ships will soon be revised. The change is planned to be released next week, tentatively on Monday, so players are advised not to spend resources on new ships for the time being.
They will primarily recover the weight of materials and resources needed to build the ship. Their quality will be reduced by about half: for example, one of the indicators will be reduced from 0.33 to 0.15. This should significantly reduce the burden on players to transport and accumulate the necessary components.
At the same time, developers will reduce the doubloons required to build ships. It will be reduced by about 15-20%, so after the update is released, the cost of the same ship will be lower. Specific parameters may change before a patch is released.
Due to the upcoming adjustments, the team recommended delaying ship construction until the weekend. If plans don’t change, it will be more profitable to wait until next week: after the update, players will need fewer materials, weigh less, and cost less in doubloons.
