As we all know, “Guilds – Europa 1410” is now called “Guilds 1 Remastered Edition: Europa 1410”. The title change should reflect the game’s main source of inspiration – the original Europa 1400: Guilds from 2002.
Compared with “Europa 1400: The Guilds”, “The Guilds 2” and “The Guilds 3” introduce more life simulation elements that are not found in “The Guilds 1 Remake: Europa 1410”. The purpose of the new name is to convey this idea to players before the game is released.
German version of Europa 1400: The Guild
As for the release date, “Guilds 1 Remastered: Europa 1410” (then under its old name) was supposed to enter early access steam July 16, but the premiere was pushed back to September.
It is understood that the early access of “Guild 1 Remastered Edition: Europa 1410” will be opened on Steam on September 17. On the same day, the developers will update the demo – which is now posted on the game’s homepage.
As early access progresses, they plan to further develop the demo version
Players take on the role of the leader of an obscure merchant dynasty, spreading the family’s influence, immersing themselves in a world of politics and intrigue, and using the love of the masses, bribery, and even blackmail to reach one of the highest positions in the kingdom.
They’re promising a return to the series’ roots, main mechanics and parts of the game (four cities and 11 classes) at the start of Early Access, support for multiple languages (only English has been announced so far) and a full release in summer 2027.
