At Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Conqueror’s Blade developers spent five days meeting with players, conducting playtests and taking photos. Meanwhile, the team shared the first details about next season, dedicated to the Aztec civilization.
Visitors to the gaming booth ranged from veteran generals specifically visiting the exhibition to newcomers interested in sieges, detachments and medieval warfare. The developers also met with an old pal from the Sun Knights Martial Arts Club, who helped with combat mechanics, motion capture and technical staging for Spartan and Season of the Roses. In addition, studio representatives also gave interviews to CGTN, describing the studio’s development and interaction with the international community.
After the exhibition, the two parties continued to communicate in informal settings. Players and developers came together to discuss servers, favorite squads, combat, and issues with the current patch, before the conversation turned to the future of the game. It was then that the team gave a mini-preview of the new season and revealed its main theme.
