Nintendo provides more details on the content Nintendo direct meeting Working on The Legend of Zelda scheduled for release this week, confirmed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered Editionand there will be more space.
To be honest, it’s just a line inserted by Nintendo’s official account in the announcement message of the new demo, but the report is still interesting, also because it provides some ideas for what the event might be about, even beyond the games in question.
“We will also share details on initiatives related to the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and video gamesand information about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,” the company’s message reads.
Nintendo has two dates this week
We remind you that Nintendo announced two Nintendo Directs this week: one for Shogun and another for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. The first one to arrive is The Legend of Zelda, scheduled to arrive on September 8 at 4:00 pm Italian time, while the other is scheduled to arrive the next day, on September 9 at 4:00 pm.
The appearance of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in stores to celebrate the series’ anniversary was practically a given, but we still reported the company’s confirmation. We’ll most likely see a new trailer this time around and maybe release dateconsidering the launch is expected by the end of 2026.
