Apple has launched its new smartwatches, Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4. A key feature on both models is an improved health tracking system.

While the design of the new product remains the same, the core element of the new health monitoring system is an improved heart rate sensor. The new system now measures your heart rate every five seconds, 60 times faster than previous models.
Apple has also introduced the ability to measure heart rate variability (HRV) every five minutes. According to the company, the system is the most accurate heart rate sensor available in a wearable device. Additionally, Apple has launched a new feature for assessing physical readiness. It analyzes data on activity, vital signs and sleep quality.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 feature new audio intelligence features. This includes identifying sounds such as doorbells. There’s also an “instant rewind” feature that allows you to go back 15 seconds to interpret what the other person said. Another innovation is Siri’s short review feature (Siri Recaps). Once launched, it can create summaries based on message notes, such as meetings. A new Siri modular watch face has also been added to the system.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 use the new Apple S11 chip. It includes CPU, GPU and Neural Engine components based on the A20 Pro chip architecture.
The new Apple Watch Series 12 smartwatch has an aluminum body and is available in black, light gold, bronze and space gray. The dial of the device is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 coating. The new product’s case is made of polished titanium and will be available in two colors: “ray gold” and “natural titanium”. Ceramic models are also back. They are available in Pearl White and New Dark Blue. A new gold model has been added to the Hermès collection.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 model comes with a larger battery that offers more than two days of battery life. Available in two finishes: black and natural titanium. A new titanium bracelet has also been launched for her.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 are now available for pre-order. Both smartwatch models will go on sale on September 18. Prices are the same as previous Apple smartwatch models: the Series 12 starts at $399 and the Ultra 4 starts at $799.
