A major Steam leak also revealed many previously unknown details about the new Kingdom Hearts IV. Several of the game’s worlds have already been revealed – so you should only read on if you’re not worried about possible spoilers.
Recently, a major achievement leak has been circulating on Valve and Steam, which also includes the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV. The unintentionally revealed achievement reveals several as-yet-unknown new worlds for the upcoming sequel to the series. Therefore, we hereby warn you that there may be spoilers if you continue reading.
When the new series installment was announced in 2022, it only showed Sora in the new world of Quadratum. Since then, “Kingdom Hearts 4” has been silent for a long time, and it was not until this year’s D23 Expo that new insights were given. A Coco-themed world has also been officially announced, but now other well-known IPs have been revealed and will appear in the game.
Perhaps most surprising of all, the massive sci-fi brand Star Wars will appear in Kingdom Hearts IV. The following additional information or worlds can be found in the leaked achievements:
- Star Wars – A Galaxy Far Far Away
- Toy Story—Toy Box
- Hercules-Hell
- Haunted House—Haunted House
- ??? — Monochrome Origins
- Zootopia — Savannah Center
- Coco – the place of death
- ??? — Planet of the Imagineers
There are still some questions about which brands specifically support the personal world. It’s unclear if the list is complete, or if there are other worlds that weren’t listed in the leaked achievements.
Kingdom Hearts IV is scheduled to be released in 2027; chances are high that much of the game data is already implemented on the Steam backend.
