SpaceCraft is getting ready to receive its first major update since entering Early Access. Major Update #1 will be released on September 16 and will bring together a redesigned crafting system, new enterprise features, and major balance overhauls.

The main changes will affect production capacity. Assembly plants and factories will work six times faster, processors will get a threefold boost, and smelters will get a double boost. The micro-furnace will increase productivity by one and a half times and increase capacity tenfold. Additionally, warehouses and factories will take up less space, freeing up space for other buildings.
The developers will also be fixing a bug with the laser patch, so the rewards for multiple installed mods are much stronger than planned. After the update, rewards will continue to accumulate, but the effectiveness of each subsequent patch will be reduced by 30%. This change will affect the Increased Yield, Rare Finds, and Final Yield modifiers. The latter will now provide job opportunities rather than guarantees of being launched. There will be no limit on the number of lasers.
The update will also include support for tank liquid filters, the base command center will receive 5000 MA of energy storage, and developers will address issues when setting up energy emitters.
