Vivienne Medrano, the creator of the hit animated series Hellboy, has shared details about the upcoming third season, which is set to premiere on Prime Video on October 14.
Fans are still most interested in the promise of crossovers with in-universe companions – Hazbin Hotel. According to Medrano, viewers will see visual Easter eggs and references in the first half of the season, while bigger crossovers and cameos will unfold in the second half, which is scheduled for 2027.
There are 15 episodes in this season, which are divided into two parts in order to show them to the audience as quickly as possible. Even though the first half wasn’t originally intended to be the finale, the team gave the middle plot the dimension it needed. Meanwhile, Spindlehorse Studios retains full creative control of the project, and new episodes will continue to be publicly available on YouTube along with previous seasons.
