One More Levels studio’s game Valor Mortis had a release date confirmed a few weeks ago – October 13, 2026. Now the developer has clarified its cost and announced the first DLC.
The standard version of Valor Mortis retails for $39.99. The author explains the decision to set such a price was due to a busy fall release schedule and fierce competition for players’ attention and funds. However, the studio believes the game’s 20-hour story campaign is comparable to many full-priced titles.
A deluxe version will also be available for $59.99. The set will include a main story DLC, which the author plans to release in 2027. Owners of this version will also receive several cosmetic sets.

Studio One More Levels has made the unconventional decision not to open pre-orders because they want players to make informed purchases after seeing the quality of the project:
Once you fully appreciate the quality, creativity, and craftsmanship of Valor Mortis on launch day, you can buy it. We think you’ll appreciate how we’re breaking new ground in the Souls-like and first-person action genres.
Let us remind you that Valor Mortis will be part of the Game Pass subscription immediately upon release. The game itself is about a soldier in Napoleon’s army who comes back from the dead.
