According to experts, the fraud shadow market has grown into a huge industry worth $8.5 billion, in which malware developers operate as professional conglomerates with millions of dollars in turnover and a complex structure of intermediaries.
The anti-cheat department is actively combating attackers: so far, experts have tracked hundreds of providers, blocked the activities of 375 entities, and issued about 100 official complaints to stop illegal activities, ultimately shutting down 31 major cheat providers outright.
To identify violators, developers use advanced machine learning algorithms, behavioral analysis and system scanning, but the huge financial incentives and high profitability of this business enable the creators of hacks to quickly restore their networks.
