CD Projekt RED plans to release The Witcher 3 Remastered on September 29th. The updated version of the game will be free to all players who own a base copy of The Witcher 3. Within the Xbox ecosystem, users will also receive additional rewards from Play Anywhere.
As early as when The Witcher 3 Remastered was released, the CD Projekt RED team mentioned that they planned to provide Play Anywhere support for Xbox users. Now the developers have officially confirmed on their social networks that it will coincide with the release of the remaster.
As a result, players who own a copy of The Witcher 3 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S will receive the Play Anywhere version of The Witcher 3 Remastered on their accounts on September 29th. In addition to consoles, the game can also be played on PC.
CD Projekt RED claims The Witcher 3 Remastered is more than just a graphics update. The project will significantly update some mechanics to bring the game more up to modern standards.
