On September 29, Minecraft Dungeons II was released from Mojang and Xbox. The game is out on all platforms – Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2 and PC. It’s also coming to Ultimate and PC-level Game Pass subscriptions immediately upon launch, including the ability to launch in the “cloud” via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Minecraft Dungeons II develops the ideas of the first part, and if you look at the critics’ reviews, it’s a success. Journalists gave the sequel a score of 85 out of 100, while the original received a score of 74 out of 100. The main differences between the Minecraft Dungeons sequels are the ability to jump, the interconnected game world, and the many opportunities for character development (including enchantments).
For Minecraft fans, the release of Minecraft Dungeons II is particularly interesting because for the first time in 14 years, the series features a new dimension called The Sift. Previously, as part of Minecraft Live, the developers confirmed that it would soon appear in the main Minecraft game.
Minecraft Dungeons II will receive at least 2 major DLC upon release, but specific details have not yet been revealed. The basic version of the project itself is priced at $29.99 and includes Russian localization.
