ARC Raiders became one of the most successful games of last year – the project sold 12.4 million copies in just 2.5 months. At the end of October, exactly one year before its release, Embark Studio decided to offer players the opportunity to test-fire the shooter for free for a few days for the first time.
ARC Raiders will be free to play from October 8 (12:00 UTC) to October 12 (11:00 UTC) on Xbox Series X consoles | S and Playstation 5, as well as on PC. As part of the promotion, users will have access to the full version of ARC Raiders without any content restrictions.
The free period will coincide with the release of the major Frozen update. The author calls it the biggest update since launch. One of the main innovations is the new Pendola Pass card. In the Free Play Day announcement, the developers emphasized that to access the Pendora Pass, new users will not have to open the location themselves – if a player joins a group with a user who has already gained access to the new map, he will be able to travel there with a squad.
Let us remind you that the ARC Raiders game itself costs $39.99 for the standard version. In the Xbox ecosystem, it has Play Anywhere support.
