The updated version of CD Projekt Red’s action RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn’t an unquestionable success in terms of graphics. Players say the new lighting is lackluster, but the culprit is one setting.

how noticed Modder from softserve, the culprit in this case is the bloom parameter. It’s its activation that makes the images in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered desaturated, as if washed out.
The PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered was released yesterday Patch 5.00c Promised to adjust the settings for the glow effect in Velen, but didn’t actually fix the problem (see image below).

Fortunately, CD Projekt Red won’t ignore the issue of overexposed images in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. This is on my Weibo Confirmed Studio communications director Marcin Momote.
“We will be fixing glow effect issues on all platforms. We hope to have time to prepare changes for the next update, but there are no details yet.”,” Momot assured fans.

In addition to updated graphics, the remaster also offers an improved combat system and skill tree, an expanded photo mode, official mod support, and two add-ons (Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine).
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered releases on PC on September 29th (steam, GOG, EGS, Battle.net), PS5, Xbox Series X, S, and Nintendo Switch 2 as standalone products, with free updates for owners of the base game.
