Nomion Games, the studio founded by members of the Escape from Tarkov team, has shared new details about its first project, Rush is Real. The game’s newly appointed art director, renowned 3D artist Space Meerkat, confirmed that the game will offer a unique setting at the intersection of Asian cyberpunk and Eastern European Brutalism.
According to the developers, the project is based on some secret mechanics designed to revolutionize common player motivations. It was this idea and the profound lore that attracted a famous influencer to join the team, who planned to personally visit Russia and China to immerse himself in the atmosphere.
The shooter itself is created in a near-future setting, emphasizing a cinematic visual style.
