Apple today launched its latest Mac mini and Mac Studio PCs, including the latest M5 Ultra processor. The company also updated its Magic Keyboard line, releasing new models with subtle changes. In the new keyboard, text labels on many function and service keys have been replaced with pictorial illustrations. Apple previously made the same change to the keyboards of MacBook Neo, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops.

On the new Magic Keyboard, icons have replaced the text on the Tab, Caps Lock, Return, Shift, and Delete keys. On expanded models with a numeric keypad, the Home, Page Up, and Page Down keys have new icons that replace text. Among the service keys, only Esc, Control, Option, and Command have not lost their text labels.
Aside from switching to icons instead of text, the new Magic Keyboard otherwise looks identical to its predecessor. They both support USB Type-C connectivity and offer the same features and layout as before. The updated Magic Keyboard is now available to order:
- Magic Keyboard: $99;
- Magic Keyboard с Touch ID: $149;
- Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and numeric keypad: $179.
Also today, Apple is launching a new polishing cloth that, like its predecessor, “Made of soft, non-abrasive material”, but at the same time its price is $9 instead of the previous $19.
