This week, Black Desert Mobile made major changes to the mechanics of the Megu class to improve its combat effectiveness, adjusted the combat effectiveness level requirements to enter the Nightmare Zone, and launched the Moonlight Festival.
Megu isn’t the only character affected by the changes, but the redesign of her abilities is particularly important: the class has had serious problems before (especially in PvE), resulting in its combat effectiveness “not hitting the target”. The purpose of the class is to be a character who can break up the rhythm of combat with fluid combos and counterattacks, but some of the mechanics didn’t work as planned.
Regarding Nightmare difficulty, the previous upper limit for level one was 40,000 BP. Since players can quickly reach the 60,000 BP level with the Season Pass and Adventurer Progress Log, the first level of Nightmare is not popular. The BS threshold for the first level has now been raised to 55,000 (previously this number was the upper limit for the second level). Therefore, each Nightmare level has a limit corresponding to the previous higher level. Monster health and bonuses have also been increased to accommodate the new requirements.
Additionally, the game will host Moonlight Festival until October 13th. During the event, players can collect moonlight fragments by completing various tasks and missions, and receive rewards by logging into the game daily. Collected shards can be used in the Chandni: Full Moon special event, where all players can contribute to help the moon go through the eight stages of growth from dark moon to bright full moon.
